Quimera Theatre

As it's already a tradition every year,the "Quimera Festival" takes place in the municipality of Metepec many  forums and with innumerable artistic events of great quality, but this year it will count with a new venue, which is, the new "Quimera theatre".

This new enclosure will be located to the west of the hill of the magueyes and will have an extension of 4 thousand and 897 meters, besides being able to keep a little bit more than 1850 spectators inside.

Location

The total amount of the construction of this new venue amounts to 50 million of mexican pesos from the three levels of the government, being this one of the *strongest* investments by the municipality of Metepec.

The design of this new artistic space was carried out by the great mexican plastic artist Leopoldo Flores. The facade of the enclosure also transmits the history of this municipality because it shows the defense of a mammoth founded in Metepec; due to the characteristics of the place they can present first evel events, having a video system and a sound system of the best quality and it will be found in a constant artistic and cultural activities ,  also counting with a room of exhibitions and workshops so that the assistants can display the artistic capacities.

It will be a place where people will be able of expressing their art

In addition to the already mentioned characteristics of the theatre it will count with a revolutionary curtain of water formed by the sprinklers located in the interior and the stands, in which will be able to project images and videos.
