It emerges as an unique space where young musicians can find a space in which, in addition of being part of a professional group, they can practice the knowledge acquired in their studies through a training process, develop their skills to integrate.
Conformed by 90 young people, beneficiaries of the State of Mexico Program, and they have as school The Felipe Villanueva Concert Hall, the ensemble prides itself on being a continuous and that feedsback the professional musical activity of the state and the country.
With 15 years of history the orchestra has managed to excel in the national field, taking music to the most remote corners of the State of Mexico and other states of the country, throughout these years, the Orchestra has directors like the masters Francisco José de Jesús Rico, Román Revueltas Retes, Mario Alfonso Rodríguez Taboada, Félix Carrasco Córdova and Rodrigo Macías González.
Since February 1, 2018, Gabriela Díaz Alatriste is named Director of the Mexican Symphony Orchestra, whom with a new vision, seeks the assembly with the highest standards of excellence. Short-term projects include the training of new audiences through different musical styles and the promotion of musical education for future generations.
